Single "Opiário" is available on all digital music platforms

“And at last, all I want is faith, peace and not having such confusing sensations. May God put an end to this! Open the locks — and comedies in my soul may I hear no more!”. Opiário (Opiarium) is a poem written by Álvaro de Campos, a heteronym conceived by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935). It’s an intimate monologue in which a man reflects upon his own hopelessness. An obsessive traveler who finds in opium the comfort to evade his ultimate destiny while drifting through the most uncertain destinations. Notwithstanding the horror, what starts out as a radical resignation to life in a world of shadows ends up with a prayer and a promise. Andras Atlason attempts to paint this portrait in sound.
